| May 03, 2007 BIG CAT ENERGY CORPORATION PROVIDES CORPORATE UPDATE | |
| Gillette, Wyoming, May 3, 2007--Big Cat Energy Corporation (OTCBB: BCTE) today provided an update on its operational activities. Big Cat Energy continues to strengthen the exposure of the ARID tool and process to coal bed methane (CBM) operators in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming. Recently, the company was invited to attend the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) new technology conference for coal bed methane in Durango, Colorado, as well as the Powder River Basin Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) in Gillette, Wyoming. The company presented performance data of an ARID tool currently operating in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming. The response at these conferences has produced numerous inquires regarding the ARID tool and process. Various companies have requested a presentation of the ARID tool and the existing well data from the successful installation of the ARID tool and process. Several companies have moved to the next stage with Big Cat Energy which requires examining their geological data for possible installation of the ARID tool in the Powder River Basin. The company is currently reviewing well logs from these companies to identify specific formations for re-injection of produced water. Due to the increased interest from CBM operators in the Powder River Basin, the company has hired Mr. Jim Farnsworth who has extensive experience in the oil & gas and CBM industry to assist with the marketing of the ARID tool and process. Mr. Farnsworth's main objective with Big Cat Energy is to target and contact CBM operators who have non-producing CBM wells because of the lack of water discharge permit. The company has identified several thousand of these stranded capital wells that would be candidates for the ARID tool. Recently, the company hired Mrs. Kathy Russell, who has extensive experience in the Powder River Basin, and has worked with numerous CBM companies along with Federal and State regulators in dealing with the permitting requirements for CBM wells. As part of her responsibilities, Ms. Russell is actively advising the State of Wyoming regarding the design of a new system of E-filing for the CBM industry permits which will ultimately streamline that agency's turnaround time for the UIC (Underground Injection Control) permits. This advisory assistance to regulators included assisting the Wyoming DEQ with the implementation of a new electronic filing process for the permitting of the ARID tool. The new electronic filing process will provide a faster and more efficient process for the ARID-UIC permits in Wyoming. Currently, we have eight applications for UIC permits pending with the Wyoming DEQ. Additionally, the Company has made inquiries with regulatory authorities for the permitting of the ARID in Montana. Finally, our manufacturer of the ARID tool has installed new state of the art equipment for the ARID manufacturing process. This equipment will further our capabilities to provide ARID tools quickly and efficiently to customers, and will enable us to meet the rising demand expected during the current construction season in the Powder River Basin. About Big Cat Energy Corporation Big Cat Energy Corporation has developed a patented technology called the ARID Tool (Aquifer Recharge Injection Device), a revolutionary new method of water handling that provides coal bed methane wells with the ability to redistribute produced water. This revolutionary new coal bed methane production technology will allow coal bed methane operators to process produced water at a fraction of the cost of current technology. | March 21, 2007 BIG CAT ENERGY CORPORATION ENTERS INTO AGREEMENT | |
| Gillette, Wyoming, March 21, 2007 -- Big Cat Energy Corporation (OTCBB: BCTE) today announced that the Company has completed discussions and entered into an agreement for the ARID tool with The Termo Company of Long Beach, California. This agreement provides for the leasing of the ARID tool and process in two coal bed methane wells in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming, along with the permitting of the coal bed methane wells through the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (WDEQ). Big Cat Energy Corporation expects to finalize lease agreements with Termo Company for these two ARID tools in the near future. The ARID tool and process uses the existing well bore to move water from the target coal seam to a shallower depleted aquifer of similar water quality. With the ARID tool and process in use, the production well will not require the discharge of any produced water, or the use of a separate re-injection well for any of the produced water. The produced water never leaves the well bore as it is redirected into different aquifer zones. These aquifers are easily identified from the geophysical logs the company runs to confirm the coal zones when the well is first drilled.
